FirstMiles is built around a simple promise: your family's driving information belongs to your account, not to resellers, data brokers, or advertising networks.
FirstMiles may collect account details, login identifiers, driver profile information, permit details, supervised driving records, notes, sign-offs, settings, support messages, and technical information needed to operate, secure, and improve the application.
We use information to provide the driving log, calculate progress, manage profiles, support account access, generate exports, respond to support requests, protect the service, and maintain reliable application operations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share account data with resellers. Information in your account is private to your account unless you choose to export it, submit it, share it, or ask us to help with a support issue.
Our goal is for non-premium use to keep information within the application on the device. That device-specific behavior still needs to be implemented for native apps. Until then, the web application may store information in the app environment needed to operate the service. Premium features may use secure cloud storage, account sync, backup, and related services.
FirstMiles prioritizes information security. We use OAuth where supported so families can sign in through established identity providers instead of relying only on app-specific passwords. We also limit access, use secure service providers, and work to keep only the information needed for the application.
We may use trusted infrastructure, authentication, database, hosting, email, logging, and support providers to operate FirstMiles. These providers are used to deliver the service and are not permitted to use account data for their own resale or advertising purposes.
You may download your information from the application where export tools are available. You may also request account closure and deletion. Some limited records may be retained only when needed for security, legal, fraud-prevention, backup, or operational reasons.
FirstMiles is operated by a small American-owned business. The product is built in house with a focus on privacy, security, and practical stewardship of family driving information.
