These terms are intended to match the FirstMiles privacy posture: your driving-log information is your information, and the app exists to help you manage it securely.
FirstMiles helps parents, guardians, and families track supervised driving practice, driver profiles, permit details, sign-offs, and print-ready records. You agree to use the application lawfully and only for accounts and records you are authorized to manage.
You retain ownership of the information you enter into FirstMiles. You give FirstMiles permission to process that information only as needed to provide, secure, support, improve, and maintain the application.
You may download available account information at any time through export tools provided in the app. You may request account closure. After closure, we will delete or de-identify account information unless limited retention is needed for legal, security, backup, fraud-prevention, or operational reasons.
FirstMiles does not sell personal information and does not share account information with resellers. We do not build the product around data resale, third-party advertising profiles, or brokered family driving information.
If you choose a premium version, additional cloud features may be enabled, such as backup, sync, multi-driver access, or expanded exports. Billing terms, renewal terms, refunds, and cancellation details will be provided before paid checkout is enabled.
FirstMiles is an organizational tool. You are responsible for entering accurate driving records, reviewing sign-offs, confirming state or local requirements, and deciding whether a generated log is acceptable for submission.
We work to protect the application and prioritize information security. You are responsible for maintaining access to your email or OAuth account, protecting your devices, and notifying us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
FirstMiles may change, improve, suspend, or discontinue features as the product develops. We will try to avoid unnecessary disruption, but the application is provided without a guarantee that every feature will always be available or error-free.
FirstMiles is operated by a small American-owned business and built in house. We aim to provide practical, secure software while keeping terms understandable for families.
These terms are a plain-English operational draft and should be reviewed by qualified counsel before public launch. Continued use of FirstMiles after posted updates means you accept the updated terms.
